JOHOR BARU: The Johor Baru City Council (MBJB) has limited powers to check on cyber cafes using the Internet to disguise illegal gambling activities.

Datuk Bandar Datuk Hashim Yahya said this had forced the council to seek help from other authorities especially the police, to ensure the safety of enforcement officers.
