Kyle's A Dirty Virus
22nd March 2000 (The Star)

Kuala Lumpur: Yet another high-risk virus is worming its way around on the Internet. This time it's disguised as a South Park character. the trojan horse style virus (a variant) of the "W32/Pretty.wormstrain") arrives as an attachment containing an icon of Kyle, from the popular adult cartoon series.

When you click on the .EXE file, the virus will copy itself into your PC's system and will try to send a copy of itself every 30 minutes to all the addresses listed in your Outlook Express address book. It will also try to connect to a specific IRC server and channel when you are connected to the Internet, and if sucessful, will allow other users to access your personal information, including your Dial-up Networking username and password.
